The first time I saw you,
my heart skipped a beat.
The way you looked at me
caused me to quiver inside.
I felt nullified by your gaze.
Captivated by your soul.
On the way over,
you struck a surge that penetrated
into the inner depths of my body
My stomach tied in knots
as I anxiously awaited
that still grand moment
when our eyes first met
I felt so close to you,
and yet so far away
I heard your voice
felt your grand laughter
echoing throughout my mind
reminiscing on the phone call
thinking of good memories
from the night before
eagerly awaiting
to see your dazzling smile
To hear you speak,
those soft and caring words
And to know
that you feel that way too.
would mean the world to me
your laughter brings
such happiness to me.
When I breathe,
thinking of you, and feeling warm inside
Many a nights of restless slumber.
emerge from this powerful heart
and a passion that bleeds inside
screaming to be set free
please cure my aching lonely spirit
and forever I shall be yours
